Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is the world's leading bare knuckle fighting promotion, founded in 2018 by David Feldman. It's exactly what it sounds like — fighters compete without boxing gloves, using only hand wraps on the wrists (not the knuckles).
Fights take place in a circular pit called "The Squared Circle" — actually a small circle 22 feet across, keeping fighters close. No grappling, no clinching, no takedowns. Pure stand-up striking only. Five rounds of two minutes each. No hitting behind the ear or back of the head.
BKFC has grown from a niche novelty into a legitimate sport with a proper broadcast deal and household names. It attracted fighters from boxing (Paulie Malignaggi, Artem Lobov), MMA (Paige VanZant, Joe Riggs), and WWE.
